Gene is a successful business man that parlayed his love for local short track racing into one of the newest and best-run short track teams in all of NASCAR's Regional Touring Divisions. Along with driver Greg Pursley, Gene has built Gene Price Motorsports into a contender in very little time. But Gene Price Motorsports is more than just a successful and winning race team - its also a business that thrives on helping out short track racers from all around the Southwest. From the in-house chassis shop and parts department to the sponsorship of the Gene Price Motorsports Late Model Series at Lucas Oil I-10 Speedway and Havasu 95 Speedway and at-track support, Gene Price Motorsports is a one-stop shop for all things "short track racing."

Greg Pursley

Driver, Gene Price Motorsports

Even though he has been racing for years, Greg Pursley really came to the forefront of drivers when he won one of the most coveted and difficult championships a driver can in 2004 - the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series National Championship. Before winning that championship, Greg had plenty of experience in road-racing, motorcycle racing, Late Models and even the NASCAR West Series. But once he won the Weekly Racing Series National Championship, things took off for Greg. He hooked up with Gene Price as a crew chief, then drove Gene's Late Model to a win in the NASCAR Toyota All Star Showdown at Irwindale. From there, a partnership formed, and Greg has become one of the best and most feared short track racers in the country.

Crew Chief, Gene Price Motorsports

The completion of our team came with the addition of former Sprint Cup and K&N Pro Series Championship Crew Chief, Jerry Pitts. Jerry is a veteran mechanic who has served as Crew Chief for a number of successful drivers and teams throughout his career. He has a proven track record with years of experience across most of NASCAR's touring series. Jerry’s vast amount of experience and knowledge is invaluable to our team. His focus and determination have had a tremendous impact on our team.

Jerry lead us to our first Championship in 2011.
